Vermillion Area Transportation Plan: April 2012

The existing conditions report is a performance summary of the current Vermillion transportation system. The report provides analyses and public input regard the various "modes" of travel in Vermillion, including:

• Motorized travel on streets and roadways

• Non-motorized (biking and walking) system via streets, trails and sidewalks.

• Transit system.

• Intercity bus transportation.

• Freight transportation.

• Air transportation facilities.

During the Alternatives Analysis, the study team considered various options for the roadway and bicycle / pedestrian systems to address identified issues and problems. The alternatives analysis is summarized in Newsletter #2.
