About the Transportation Plan

The Vermillion Transportation Plan will set the direction for how people and goods move throughout the community over the next 20 years. The Plan study team will work with the Vermillion community to identify the expectations and goals of citizens and local officials for their multi-modal transportation system. The Vermillion multi-modal system includes travel by private automobile, transit, bicycle and on foot.  The goal of the Plan is to collect as broad a range of input from local stakeholders as possible.  The Transportation Plan will incorporate this public input with technical analyses to identify the needs and desires of the community for its transportation system for the next 20 years.

When complete, the Transportation Plan will provide Vermillion a blueprint for achieving its vision for the transportation system through a series of recommended projects, programs and policies.
